Meet Our Trustees

The Ivy Project has some dedicated Trustees and their details are below

Our Trustees

Jen Clarkson

Trustee

I’m Jen, and I feel truly honoured to have known our little warrior princess, Ivy. I have been a close friend of Michelle’s for over 20 years, so hearing the devastating news about Ivy was absolutely heartbreaking.

I saw first-hand how important it was for Michelle and Stephen to bring Ivy home after she passed. That precious gift of time allowed them to begin their grieving, gave family and friends the chance to say their goodbyes, and created space for lasting memories before the funeral. It was invaluable.

One of the first things Michelle said was that she wanted to raise money for more cuddle cots, so other families could have that same choice in how they spend those final days with their child. That selfless act, in such a moment of grief, is a true testament to the incredible person she is.

That is why I want to support Michelle and Stephen in their mission—to give every family the opportunity to say goodbye to their loved one in the way they choose.

Daniel Barwise

Trustee

Having known Ivy personally through her loving parents, Stephen and Michelle, I am honoured to represent The Ivy Project as a Trustee.

Ivy was a beautiful and cheerful soul who lit up every room she was in. Her infectious laugh and charismatic personality brought smiles and laughter to all that knew her.

She is greatly missed every day and with the her memory strong in all who knew her, The Ivy Project sets out to ensure that other parents and families can find the support and resources required in their hour of need.

Being a Trustee of such a wonderful charity is both an honor and a responsibility—one that goes far beyond lending a name or public support. To me, it means becoming a visible and active advocate for a cause that matters deeply, using whatever platform, influence, or skills I have to amplify its mission and values.

There is also a sense of stewardship that comes with the role. A Trustee helps uphold the integrity and reputation of the charity by aligning my own values and actions with those of the charity, they contribute to building trust with supporters, donors, and the communities served.

With this, Ivy’s memory will live on forever.

Stephen Milton

Trustee

I want to be a trustee because this charity represents my daughter’s legacy, and I am deeply committed to honouring that in a meaningful and responsible way.

I care about ensuring the charity continues to make a positive impact, stays true to its purpose, and supports others in the way she inspired me to. As a trustee, I hope to bring dedication, compassion, and thoughtful decision‑making to help the charity grow and thrive all in the name of my Baby girl Ivy Mae Milton
